How do I know if ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity cite my business?

The difference between an AI agent visiting your site and citing it, and how each one is measured.

There are two things you can measure: whether those agents visit your site and whether they cite you when someone asks them about your business. The second one you only learn by asking each assistant, again and again, what your customers ask, and checking whether you show up. Peaje does both: it logs agent visits to your site and asks ChatGPT and Claude whether they cite you. We do not measure Perplexity today, although its bot does show up in your visits.

Updated: October 2026

On the Pro plan your agent follows 20 questions in AI assistants and has 500 credits a month for its work, as the pricing page says, and talking to your agent uses no credits.

Can I see it without paying?

Yes, partly. The free radar tells you in under a minute what an agent finds when it lands on your site, and it also asks ChatGPT and Claude up to 3 questions from someone looking for what you offer, to show you whether they cite you and who they cite instead. It only asks for your email and your domain, with no account and no card. The log of agent visits is free too, with an account and the kit installed on your site. What you pay for is the tracking: 20 questions every week.

What is the difference between a visit and a citation?

A visit is an agent coming to your site to read it. A citation is that agent linking to your site when someone asks it about what you sell, and if it names you without a link, the radar marks that separately. Agents can visit you a lot and never cite you, for example if they do not understand what you sell or at what price, so we measure the two separately.

How does Peaje measure whether you are cited?

Your agent asks ChatGPT and Claude what your customers ask and checks whether your site is among the sources of the answer. Then it measures again at 2 and 6 weeks, so you know whether what you changed worked. It tells you on Telegram or on your dashboard, and it emails you a weekly report. Perplexity is not part of that measurement.

What if it turns out they do not cite me?

Your agent tells you what is missing and writes full drafts of the pages you need, using facts from your own site. Each fix becomes a task: if you use Claude Code or Cursor, your tool picks it up from Peaje, and if not, you hand it to whoever runs your website. Once the fix is live, your agent checks it on your site.

How much does it cost, and can I leave?

Pro costs US$30 a month, the founder price for the first 50 businesses, and US$69 after that, according to the pricing page. You cancel anytime from your dashboard, with no calls, and if it is your first payment and you ask within 7 days, we refund it in full. If you cancel, you keep your diagnosis and the fixes your agent already handed you.
